Possibly...or not...: Unfortunately, these partial tears can just continue to hurt with sports. Always treat these first with hamstring stretching, avoiding plyometric explosive exercises, ice alot, do cross friction massage and rest for 6 wks at min. If that is not successful, consider a PRP injection next. Open debridement with surgery would be the final option if pain persists. Never have a cortisone shot for this.
