Yes: The usual dosage for this medication is one tablet twice daily. Doubling the dose accidentally will not be harmful, however, you should not continue the higher dose without notifying your primary care physician. He/she is in a better position to understand your entire health picture that would include other medications that you are taking and other health conditions that may place you at risk.
