Is sertraline 50mg once a day habit forming? i take it for anxiety and i just don't want to depend on it. doctor said to take it for 3 months.

No: Sertraline is not addicting in the sense that you will have physical withdrawal when you stop taking it. I recommend that you participate in psychotherapy to learn coping techniques to reduce your anxiety so that you can feel confident about stopping medication in the future.
