A member asked:

Why would my atrial fibrillation seem to like to run at around 150 beats per minute?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Atrial fibrillation: Atrial fibrillation sends hundreds of impulses down to the ventricles and as many as can get through cause the rapid rate. This is why one of our main treatment efforts is to slow the ventricular rate in afib.
