A member asked:

We're asked to eat fish for lowering cholesterol, but seems even salmon, tuna, tilapia etc are itself high in cholesterol, saturated fat. isn't it true?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Good fats & bad fats: There are good fats and bad fats just as there are good carbs and bad carbs. Your nervous system needs good fats such as those found in oily fish like salmon and tuna to work properly. These fish are high in Omega 3 essential fatty acids which help to decrease inflammation as well as lower cholesterol levels.
