Probably not: Your best way to limit risk of Hepatits B is to limit your exsposure to body fluids. The full series of shots for Hepatitis B is three shots total. Day 1 is shot 1, Shot 2 is one month later, and shot 3 is 6 months later. You should have some immunity 1 month after the first shot, and maybe some a week later. But even the full three shots if done, does not replace common sense about exposure.

No: Hepatitis B virus is transmitted through body fluids when close contact with infected individual occurs but not by a casual contact.
