Would it be worth having a cervical mri done even though i had a negative cervical ct already completed?

It depends: what they are looking for. For example, MRI is better than CT at evaluating the discs and spinal cord, so if they are looking for disc pathology(e.g. protrusion/herniation) or cord pathology(e.g. MS), an MRI might be indicated.
