A member asked:

I've had large white streaks at back of throat (behind tonsils) for months (after getting strep throat in october 2014) is it likely serious?

No: If there is no pain or fever then it is not serious. If you are having problems swallowing then see a doctor.

See doctor: Strep throat does not cause permanent changes at the throat area. Although I don't believe that your problem is serious the prudent thing to do is to ask your doctor to take a look at the throat just to be sure.
