Does taking a prenatal that's red in color harm your unborn child?

Doubtful: Although some red dye has chemicals that are potentially harmful, prenatal vitamins are made carefully. To find out for sure, you need to find out the type, color, and number of the specific dye(usually coded by numbers); once you have that, you can check for toxins in the ingredients. I would be surprised if the FDA doesn't restrict any prenatal vits that are toxic !
