Not pregnant, yet.: If your pregnancy tests at home are negative, you are probably not pregnant. You must wait 1-2 weeks after your last unprotected sex to do a pregnancy test to know for sure that you aren't pregnant because it takes that long to become positive. If you don't want to be pregnant, see your ob/gyn, doc, midwife or NP to discuss birth control!

If you don't want to be pregnant, consider a long acting, reversible method of birth control like an implant or an IUD so that you don't have to remember to take a birth control pill; fewer side effect as well!
