Rib cage: Intermittent,fleeting lower left chest discomfort may be due to irritable chest wall muscles or intercostal nerve which runs between two ribs and sometimes get pinched. Have you been doing any activities that could strain or irritate your rib cage? If so,avoid this to see if the discomfort resolves. See your Physician if symptoms persist.
