Are you regular?: Ovulation typically occurs about two weeks after the start of your period. If you usually have 28 day cycles (approximately), your peak time for conception is about day 14. To be safe, give yourself 5 days before and after because of sperm fortitude and imprecision of this method. Bottom line if you're regular, your "window" is day 9-19 or so. You had sex on day 25-26, so you're likely safe.

but never forget...having sex even during your period is NOT 100% safe against pregnancy! Some females ovulate at random times- you have to ovaries!
