A Continual War: That's difficult to answer, but the last time I talked to one it said that it usually stays in place and may possibly spread a little locally unless blasted away with extreme heat, cold or chemicals-and that new recruits arrive by re-innoculation from another infected person by direct contact (no paratroopers necessary).One caveat: about 1/3 will survive a blast and come back months or years later
