Costochondritis : It is possibly costochondritis, which is an inflammatory condition in the area where the cartilage and bone portion of the rib meet, particularly if it is tender. NSAIDs are the usual treatment. Consider being seen to rule out other deeper causes such as a gall bladder problem for instance.
