Pulsating painful artery or vein above collar bone in "gully" at base of neck. bulging when lying flat. subclavian? i have fam hx of brain aneurysms.

Usually : subclavian artery. Ultrasound can confirm if you are worried. Also ultrasound can confirm or dismiss the presence of an aneurysm. Rarely pulse is transmitted through an enlarged lymph node. See you primary care doctor for exam and discussion.
