Wash your hands: The viruses that cause stomach bugs are spread by contact and enter the body through your mouth, nose, or eyes. The best thing is to wash your hands well with soap and water. And do not rub your eyes or nose or touch your mouth with unwashed hands. Viruses also can travel in food or drinks. No sharing cups or food. Many viruses are contagious before symptoms, so looking well is no guarantee.
