No: But worrying about the effect of restless legs on your blood pressure can. In general, the more you focus on your blood pressure, the higher it gets. Get your blood pressure checked at your regular doctors appointments, and only worry about it in between if you have chest pain, weakness, or slurred speech. Hope this helps!

Modest at most: Could make the BP go up a little at time of distress, which keeps you awake, but no persistent long-term effects. However, there are plenty of excellent meds to control the RLS.
