On occasion.: Drinking alcohol infrequently, in small amounts, while taking Diamox (acetazolamide) will probably not hurt anything. However, long-term use of alcohol can raise your blood pressure, thus making it more difficult to control it with Diamox (acetazolamide). Thus, the less you drink alcohol the better, but rare use of alcohol will probably not hurt you much. Moderation is key. Good luck.
