Pimple: The best thing to do right now is to put some neosporin or acne treatment on it and leave it be. If you keep aggravating it, it will continue to get redder and it will take longer to heal. Keep the area clean and allow your body to do what it does best.

Infection : The area may be infected. May require systemic antibiotics and topical bactroban (mupirocin) for the area.
