How common is it for a toddler with p eumonia on antibiotics get sepsis. i'm scared i just read it can cause sepsis.

Sepsis: In a child with an otherwise normal immune system, getting sepsis from a pneumonia is uncommon. If your child is being treated with oral antibiotics, at home, I'd assume an extremely low risk for sepsis providing you have your child complete the antibiotics as prescribed.
