Inflammation : It sounds like you have significant inflammation in your chest. Pain with deep breathing sounds like pleurisy. (Inflammation of the lining of the lungs and adjacent inner chest wall). The pain being between your breasts may be inflammation of the cartilages connecting the ribs to the breast bone. Best to see your family doctor ASAP to get checked out and treated. Call first thing in the A.M.

R/O PERICARDITIS: You may have inflammation of the heart=PERICARDITIS vs inflammation of the lungs =PLEURITIS. Myocarditis is much more serious and can be suggested by an abnormal echo. Often they are post viral.They tend to resolve with rest/hydration /NSAID(indocin) if it persists a course of prednisone may be needed. SEEK PROMPT EVALUATION FOR EKG/CXR & LABS.
