when yawned i felt a tremendous pain under my left breast and every time i took a deep breath it really hurt but went away after 10mins. what is this?

Dr. Christopher Guzik

Intercostal muscle: The small intercostal muscles between the ribs and sternoclicomastoid muscles probably went into spasm at the time you yawned, causing a contraction to the ribs while you were inhaling
