Life style changes: you need to have a complete diet and life style changes ,first hydrate well,a lot of water and juices,less sodas and caffeinated average,less energy drink,eat more fibers and fruits and vegetables,more soups and less red meat,exercise regularly ,and take a stool softener and fibroid supplement if you needed.use a sitz bath for the fissure,and use OTC medication for comfort.

Address both problem: You need to address both problems. You need to soften your stool by taking in plently of water (8-10 glasses per day) and fiber (get a fiber supplement). This will soften your stool and alow it to pass more easily. You need to deal with the fissure by doing the above, using mineral oil to help the stool to pass more easily. Use topicals to ease the pain - Prep-H, witch hazel (Tucks Pads)...
