I have an estrogen level of 636. i am 55 , complete hyst in1999 & have been on 2 mg estrodiol daily. why is it so high?

A few possibilities: If your "complete hysterectomy" means removal of uterus and cervix only but one or both ovaries were not removed and you take estradiol, then your estrogen level is really not "high". If both ovaries were removed, the source of your estrogens can be your body fat, your adrenal glands, your pills, dietary hormones etc? May wish to get a copy of your pathology report or consult an endocrinologist.
