A member asked:

What could be the cause of burning ankle pain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends on location: A burning pain is commonly associated with tendinitis or nerve related issues. If isolated to ankle not radiating up leg or into foot then likely tendinitis. Very common condition at times associated with previous ankle sprain or increased use. Oral NSAIDs activity modifications and a lace up brace may be helpful.
