Talk to prescriber: The doctors who prescribed both drugs (I assume they are from different prescribers) are who you need to talk to, or at least your pharmacist. Without knowing what your health history is, what medications have been used before, and what other medications you are taking, it is impossible to advise you. Buspar (buspirone) is not an antidepressant, and is only for anxiety, while lexapro can work for both.
