Had pneumonia 3 weeks ago. 10 day levaquin (levofloxacin). pneumonia resolved on xray. can i get sepsis now?

Not from prior illns: People can get sepsis from a variety of germs, some more aggressive and rapid in their effect than others. The resolution of your prior pneumonia under treatment has reset your start point. Once that germ was eliminated, it is not hanging around anymore to cause sepsis.You might become sick from a new agent.
