Have you ever done spinal injections on someone solely based on a pcp's referral with no consult? they just want me to bring x-rays in hand that day. is this common practice or am i just paranoid?

Not certain: I do not do spinal injections and so I am the wrong person to ask. However, it may be that the doctor will combine the procedure with a consultation, which is common in some specialties. I would discuss any mixed feelings you have with the doctor or his staff when you go to have the procedure. Take care and good luck!
