Elevated TSH: Her body is producing TSH because her thyroid isn't functioning. She will likely need thyroid replacement hormone the rest of her life. Please see a doctor asap. She is suffering from hypothyroidism likely due to Hashimoto's thyroiditis. It's an autoimmune disease.
