Brownish discharge: This is likely old blood from your last menses - Was this early period a "regular" period or lighter than usual??? Are you on birth control? - if lighter than usual and NOT on birth control - this might have been a blighted ovum and what you are seen now is your "regular" menses. I suspect that your cycles will resume normally with the next cycle.
