Not needed: if you are a habitual Marijuana user, remember it has health side effects and you should get on a program to stop it. If you are an occasional user, or wanted/used it for hand pain only, don't forget to mention it to the surgeon and anesthetist to make sure no interaction with other medicine used in a anesthesia occurs.
