Not likely.: A bruise is not a sign of a blood clot. It is a sign of bleeding from some type of injury usually. Are you on aspirin or other blood thinners? If yes, then you are at increased risk of bleeding from any injury. If you are concerned about a blood clot, you should see your Dr. who could do an ultrasound on the leg to check for it.
