Anovulation: If the pregnancy test is negative and you did the test appropriately then you may have anovulation. As a women gets closer to menopause, which is in the US is at an average age of 52, sometimes the egg does not come out from the ovary. When this happens a period will not come. See a physician and get retested for pregnancy-if negative then the MD may give you something to bring the period down.
