Here are some ...: The recommended course for doxycycline is 100 mg orally twice daily for 7 days if not pregnant. But for most cases, 5-day course should do just well. But for reassuring chlamydia cure, be tested in 1-2 weeks after this 5-day use of Doxycycline. For minimizing reinfection or spread, make sure the partner be tested, treated, and followed if any possible. Other option is one dose of Azithromycin.
