Yes and no: One must be careful as you get older. do you have any underlying health problems. If you are healthy and not taking much in the way of meds, you should be ok. After age 35 the incidence of Downs and other complications does go up. Make sure your heart is healthy and no neurologic problems such as epilepsy as these problems become more significant for the expectant mother. best wishes.
