A member asked:

Is it normal for diabetics to purge after eating?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: It is not normal for anybody to purge after eating. The gastrointestinal system in humans is designed to take in a normal amount of food, digest it for its nutrients and fuel, and then reabsorb water (to make solid poop) in the colon, and finally to poop in the appropriate place. If one's system is working well, it is abnormal for he or she to intentionally mess with it.
