Numb Sitting On Leg: Hello. Cycling is not the issue since you don't sit on your leg while cycling. Most likely what you are feeling after you have sat on your lower leg is a result of positional compression to your peroneal nerves (superficial and deep ones). Once you get up off of your leg, you should be noticing return of normal sensation (after the prickly tingling stuff passes.). It's very common.

OK- if it resolves: Transient numbness (paresthesia) in your sciaitc nerve from compression at edge of saddle is likely the cause. If chronic and bothersome, try a more padded and wider seat
