In addition to ..: ..the specialized areas mentioned, communication pathways are found in almost all areas of the brain, some of which are poorly understood. Generally speaking, the left hemisphere is responsible for language and speech, and the RH plays a greater role in visual/spatial processing. There is individual variability, and about a third of left handers have language in the RH. Beautiful complexity.
