Smoking and others: Yes. Of course. Many people with asthma or other respiratory diseases, when they are exposed to cigarette smoke can have severe bronchospasm and feel like they are suffocating. I know that not all smokers are not like the norm, but I have yet to see a smoker ask those around them if they would be bothered by their smoking.
