Healthy diet: If your 15-year old is healthy and is eating a normal, healthy diet full of vegetables, fruits, proteins, and minimal amounts of junk food, he/she is receiving all the vitamins and minerals needed from his/her diet. If this is a 15-year old female who has heavy menstrual cycles, her pediatrician may recommend a diet heavier in iron. A healthy diet is better than any supplements.
