Old quinine elixir: Grove's Chill Tonic was a drink developed by Wiley Grove, to mask the taste of quinine in the late 1800's. It was tremendously popular and was used to prevent malaria. The Bristol-Myer company bought the original company and continued to make it for a time, but stopped at some point. There are other forms of quinine available.
