Need more info: Difficult to say without knowing more. Wondering what kind of reaction you are referring to, the time course, symptoms, etc. There are many different reactions to foods including true allergic reactions, food intolerance, or immune-mediated inflammation to gluten in people with celiac disease. See an Allergist if you are concerned about an immediate allergic reaction to hummus.
