Do gay men and woman have similar hormone levels?

Dr. Daniel Ziegler answered

Men and women have very different sex hormone profiles but similar levels of other hormones. Gay people's hormone profiles are no different from heterosexuals when matched for age & gender. So estrogen levels in a gay woman are the same as a straight woman her age and testosterone in gay males is the same as in straight men but both hormones exist at radically different levels in males vs. females
