Not cause theyre gay: Men and women have very different sex hormone profiles but similar levels of other hormones. Gay people's hormone profiles are no different from heterosexuals when matched for age & gender. So estrogen levels in a gay woman are the same as a straight woman her age and testosterone in gay males is the same as in straight men but both hormones exist at radically different levels in males vs. females
