What should you do to help someone who has just collapsed before a doctor arrives?

Call 911!: Learn CPR and basic first aid so you will know what to do. There are apps around that can help with this but you need to be familiar with the basics before someone needs help. If untrained, call 911. Sometimes the dispatcher can give you some suggestions about what steps you should take. Anyone may be able to save a life, or be part of helping to save a life, with CPR and First Aid training.
