A member asked:

If a microbe is spread from one person to another, does that mean the first person doesn't have the microbe anymore?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Microbe spread.: When someone is infected, there's typically millions of a given microbe involved. A portion of this microbe population is transmitted to the other person. That portion then multiplies in the second person, causing another infection with millions of microbes. So then they're both sick.
