A member asked:

Can a sudden increase in blood pressure cause fluid to enter the lungs?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pulmonary edema: If the physiology is present in the patient, a sudden increase in blood pressure can cause pulmonary edema. It doesn't necessarily happen in everyone. Not enough space here to explain the physiological reasons.
