No it is not. : Ssri's are by far the safest throughout pregnancy, especially zoloft (sertraline). Zoloft (sertraline) is even safe while beast feeding, because the child does not receive any metabolites. Other ssri's such as Prozac and Celexa can also be used throughout pregnancy. However, zoloft (sertraline) of course is always preferred.
