Non specific prostatitis: Usually acute prostatitis treated with antibiotics called Quinolones such as Cipro, (ciprofloxacin) Levaquin + treatment is 2-4 weeks. Sulfa + Penicillin antibiotics also work. , With your history of STD, what infection caused STD-nonspecific, Gonorrhea , or Syphilis -this could be infecting prostate A doctor does rectal exam, to palpate this gland for swelling, tenderness , discharge to diagnosis
