Chest pain left side. vitals ok, no symptoms other than aching pain on chest. comes and goes past few hours. what is it? musculosketal or cardio?

Mgt: It could be either, but if it is reproduced by pressing on the area of pain, it is more likely to be muscular. If you have no history of illness, including cardiac disease and no family history of cardiac issues, then muscular would be more common in your age group. A heating pad or ibuprofen may help to alleviate the pain. A virtual appt can be made online to follow up.

Go to ER: The symptoms you have listed could be Angina symptoms. This means that one of your coronary arteries (blood vessels to your heart) could potentially be blocked and therefore affecting the blood flow to your heart. It could result in you having a heart attack anytime. There could be other less alarming causes for these symptoms but you cannot take a risk and you go to ER without delay
