Depends on cause: The treatment depends on the cause of the pain.You did not say how long you have had the pain,if there was any trauma,if there is any swelling,if the pain is only on moving the wrist and if any other part of arm is hurting You can try Aleve (naproxen) or Motrin available over the counter if you are not allergic to those and do not suffer from stomach problems like ulcer etc And if no better consult your MD

Brace and rest: Wear a brace, take NSAID's if you can tolerate, apply ice, rest. If your pain does not improve or if you have a lot of pain, see a specialist. If you have an injury, see a specialist to make sure that you do not have a fracture or a torn ligament.
